According to archaeologists this way, sections of which are kept in very good condition, are the remains of the Inca Trail Coast built to connect the coastal provinces to the capital of the Empire. It is one of the main attractions of this destination. Many people go just to verify the history of the road and the legend of the Inca's chair where the son of the sun was loaded from Cusco to the beach.

A place that touches the senses, where the warm breeze gently touches the face, where the coarse sand tickling each step and where the eye is lost in the quiet of a sea of gentle swaying. Life flows required between a shallow seabed, the waters between the residents and visitors. The story fills every corner, while legends and myths are beating time to be counted over and over again. Each element important part of this paradise hidden between hills of sand.

Legend has it that the greatest ruler of the Inca Empire came from the highlands from Cusco to this spa. A splendid procession walked the long road leading to the sea, including several burly men carrying on their shoulders a litter and elegant she was sitting inside the Inca in person. The music was, the offerings to the gods were delivered and the ceremony was followed closely by the sovereign, who sat in a chair beautiful gold and stone. According to locals that beautiful "throne" was thrown into the sea and hidden inside a submarine cave is guarded by extraordinary people.

Although you can not be certain that the Silla del Inca existed, what if some researchers have been able to conclude is that from this creek (fishing village) started the Chasquis (messengers) to supply the ruler of Tahuantinsuyo fresh seafood . They say the people that these products came to Cusco in just 24 hours, thanks to the speed of the messengers and the extraordinary road linking the imperial city to the coast.

The currently existing Inca trail was a very important way in the Inca period and that through him, the Incas and much of it supplied Tahuantinsuyo cochallullo seafood and the main source of Iodine important in their daily diet as well as some products typical farm of the coast and in turn these people stocked up on products of our forests and mountains.

Puerto Inca is an important archaeological site built by the Incas to the sea. According to studies the Archeological was inhabited between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries AD. It contains a housing, warehouses and agricultural terraces. Also outside the area which concentrates the majority of structures have been found more walls and houses scattered over the area.

Puerto Inca, also known as Quebrada de la Vaca, have fairly simple structures, for which we used mostly stone and a mortar made from burnt and crushed shells mixed with sand, a substance obtained quite similar to calcium carbonate, one of the ingredients used in the manufacture of cement at present.

The buildings were on one level except for a two-story whose purpose is unknown. While most of the walls have straight lines some have some curvature and is more narrow at the base, coming a little to the shape of the famous Chullpas Sillustani.

Something that has drawn particular attention of archaeologists is the discovery of numerous underground storage, scattered throughout the area which resemble the shape of a bottle buried in the sand with a narrow entrance and a wide bottom. This is because the number of such stores or Colcas "is quite disproportionate to the people who inhabit the place.

We can also find the "dryer", which is characterized by an arrangement of 16 buildings next to each other, with walls and roofs of flat stones against a wide fenced yard. This part of the complex was used for drying, cleaning select and seafood were also taken to Cusco.

At present this beautiful beach is calm and clear waters ideal for water sports, where the adventure lovers can hike (with varying degrees of difficulty) by the legendary Inca Trail and where everyone can enjoy Encounter with the history of Peru.
