The Beauty of Owl Cave
This cave, which, like the grotto of Guagapo does not have defined end, houses one of the most important populations of Steatornis birds considered living fossils for their age and extinction. It is also the most important point of attraction of the National Park Tingo María.
It is located within the territories of the National Park Tingo María, in the department of Huanuco, province of Leoncio Prado, Mariano Damaso Berdún district, 6 miles south of the city of Tingo Maria.
This cave, located in the foothills of the Andes "Sleeping Beauty" is the main attraction of the National Park Tingo María. Its natural material is limestone and rock formations are stalactites and stalagmites, on their final departure or still can not do calculations, only 400 meters has been explored within.
