Los Baños del Inca, the marvel of Peru
Los Baños del Inca, in Cajamarca district, is the first tourist resort in northern Peru for having the medicinal mineral hot springs, which rise to the surface in so-called "Perolitos" Water Monument declared at a temperature ranging from 65 to 76 º C of great importance for the development of crenoterapia or hydrothermal treatment.
Formerly known under the name Pultumarca, during the height Inca Baths of the Inca was a mansion surrounded by trees and springs used as a luxury spa rank. It was the resting place of Emperor Atahualpa, which still retains the famous Inca pool "where forces recovered before embarking on new journeys of conquest.

Los Baños del Inca are the department of Cajamarca, 6 km east of the city. Cajamarca. Public and private transportation there that do this route on a daily basis for visitors to access the site. The tour is done in approximately 15 minutes by car.

There is a modern 2-lane highway with auxiliary path and pedestrian bike path that connects the city of Cajamarca, to arrive by car must travel 6 kilometers from Cajamarca.
